
The Government of Canada should introduce a Canadians with Disabilities Act that ensures consistent action, coordination and accountability at the federal level for all Canadians with any form of disability.
Furthermore, it is essential that a voice at the Cabinet table specifically represent disability issues. This can best be accomplished through the designation of Minister responsible for Canadians with Disabilities.
