We departed Arizona's up by the airport and headed down Highway 427 to The Queensway (where Jack Astor's is reputed to be very accessible). In fact, Jack Astor's (at least this location that we visited) seems to have been designed for accessibility and for both able-bodied and disabled patrons alike. Every exterior door has an automatic door opener. This is a great feature! The entire establishment is very spacious, and the washroom stall is so big that you could fit a Hummer in there. The televisions are in good position so you will be able to comfortably watch the game in the bar, although my only concern is that the tables in the bar are a little too high (great bar, but maybe a few lower-height tables could be brought in). Despite this obstacle, Jack Astor's is a great place to watch the game, and enjoy the company of friends and colleagues. There's also plenty of parking in the lot, with ample Accessible Parking Spaces near the entrance. You'll have a great time here.
In addition, the washroom is fantastic. Just like Johnny Baker's it is a private room and can only be accessed by key. It has a nice grab bar and the sink and soap are at a good height. Simply put Arizona's is what an accessible sports establishment should be.
